We Need Volunteers

Dallas Pregnancy Resource Center needs volunteers in the following areas:

Daytime Advocates (lay-counselors) - men and women needed at Jupiter and Greenville Centers.  Training required – a one-year commitment is required. Serve a weekly four-hour shift at one of our centers.

Organizers – to work in our client “Store” sorting in-kind donations, stocking our store shelves, making “layette bags” and organizing our maternity clothes. Minimal training required, for a commitment serving one hour per week or twice monthly. Twice yearly on site: Exchange and store seasonal baby clothes and maternity clothes.

Prayer Warriors – receive our bi-monthly prayer letter and commit to pray for the clients and the ministry. You may do this at home within your own schedule. We covet your prayers!

Prayer Intercessors – come into one of our three ministry locations weekly and intercede in prayer on behalf of the needs of the clients and ministry that day.

Short term projects– available for special short term projects which usually last 2 - 3 hours - mailings, helping with baby bottle campaign, etc…no training required. Notice is given about a week or two ahead.

Committee Work – event planning and execution for our clients and for our fundraisers.  Serve as your time allows and meet other like-minded new friends.

Nurses – work in our clinics performing pregnancy tests and or limited sonograms. Training required and a commitment of two years for sonography (one four-hour shift per week - daytime or evening).

Nurses – educate students in middle school and high school on fetal development (training required and provided - daytime opportunity).

Doctors – OB-GYNs or radiologists are needed two hours per month to read charts, meet with clients and work with our nurses.

Church Reps – represent our ministry at your church. Serve as a liaison informing the church of ministry needs and the exciting things happening etc…

Lend your professional service - We need help with public relations, graphic design, video production, search engine optimization, and human resources. At times we need our carpets cleaned, handymen, painting, etc… If you have a service we could probably use it!

Administrative Helpers - assist at one of our locations with administrative projects such as filing, organizing, computer research, etc…a weekly or bi-weekly commitment.
